Title:Ron Paul Revolution Begs One To Ask, "Who's Obama?"
Posted On:September 9, 2010, 12:05 PM
Listing Detail
By Douglas V. Gibbs

An acquaintance of mine mans a security booth at one of the quarries I obtain material from. He drives a friend's truck, which has plastered all over it "Ron Paul Revolution." On the back of the truck's tailgate is painted the words, "Legalize The Constitution."

George explained to me the other day about how somebody asked him, "What's a Ron Paul Revolution?"

"Ron Paul," said George, "was one of the candidates that ran in the hopes of gaining the Republican nod so that he could run against Obama."

Then the driver asked, "Who's Obama?"

Hmmm, that may explain why Obama's approval rating hasn't quite reached 20% yet. There are still a few people living under rocks that don't know who Obama is, or that he is a raging Marxist.

Note: I am not a Ron Paul supporter. . . I am more in line with Rand Paul.

Title:Iran Stoning Stopped, for now
Posted On:September 9, 2010, 09:12 AM
Listing DetailBy Douglas V. Gibbs

The stoning of women in Islam is a well known fact, but we look the other way for some reason. Then, recently, a video of a young girl being stoned to death emerged, and for those that watched it, the sickening horror of Islam's attitude toward women was exposed once again. (Warning, video is graphic)

lectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_L2yi20l2PRU/TIh3R7DHTVI/AAAAAAAAEj0/-h4rc4wZqgE/s1600/MideastIranStoning092738--300x450.jpg">Then news of Sakineh Mohammadi-Ashtiani, and her death sentence, became an international outcry.

The whole deal is over a photograph, and Islam's opinion she is spreading indecency and corruption due to a relationship she had with two men after her husband's death. The charge of adultery is the one that brought on the death sentence by stoning.

The image that brought on lashes to be added to her death sentence was one without a hijab.

Later, it was realized it was not her in the picture, but the Muslim religious authorities did not budge.

International condemnation has befallen Iran for the harsh punishment, and even the Catholic leadership at the Vatican has demanded Tehran to halt the action.

Under the constant pressure, Iran's foreign ministry has decided that the stoning death sentence given to the woman should now be put on hold.

Foreign ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast maintains the woman is guilty of murder and adultery, but says the sentence to death by stoning has been reviewed and put on hold.

I believe her fate will still be death, but time will tell if by stoning. Iran's willingness to carry out the punishment will bring a firestorm of criticism, but will it be enough to encourage those yearning for freedom inside Iran to rise up again as they did just after the elections?

Title:Jan Brewer's Frozen Moment No Big Deal, Especially When Compared to Obama's Idiocy
Posted On:September 9, 2010, 06:03 AM
Listing DetailBy Douglas V. Gibbs

I've heard about Jan Brewer having a, as some liberals have called it, "Senior Moment," and shrugged it off. Heck, we all have moments that are not as pure as the driven snow. If we had to live our lives based on the standards the liberals require of conservative politicians, we'd all be basket cases.

Anyway, I never commented on the video because I hadn't seen it, and I truly had no desire to seek it out. Then a liberal reader was so kind as to send me the link.

So here's the video:

So, does that make her whatever the Left is calling her? Of course not. She obviously lost her train of thought, and was probably embarrassed by it, but it was nothing more. But, because of the constant attack mode of the Left (since they can't debate the issues, they always resort to this kind of ridiculous tactics) she has been labeled as [insert liberal insult here].

Please. If that is all you dirt balls have to combat a governor of a state that is willing to stand up to the unconstitutional actions of the federal government, then you leftist progressive liberal Marxists are weaker than I thought.

And next time you lose your train of thought, how about you attack yourself with the same labels.

Jeez.

And this coming from a group of people who's chosen President says "uh" more than any politician in history.

And a few stutters. . .

And Obama's losing his train of thought with a teleprompter in front of him (except in the cases of the debates, anyway)!

But hey, give him a break, he's a super intelligent guy - or so the Leftist Democrats tell us - that's why he's visited 57 states. . .

Breathalyzer, inhalator, it's all the same, right?

And the liberal idiots dare accuse Jan Brewer of being an idiot because she lost her train of thought?
