| Bio: | I'm a 20 something Milspouse that believes life it what you make of it. I have been happily married to my husband Nick for almost 8 years now. Which is also how long "The Husband" has been in the Navy.We have five amazing children that take up most of our time. . .ok, so we don't have five....three of them are our dogs, but we never really told them they were dogs. . . so, they are a little confused! ;-) Our son is 10 and our daughter is 6. Where does the time go!?I am originally from St. Louis, MO, but we are currently stationed on the East Coast. I enjoy sketching, writing, photography, painting, and anything having to do with the out doors and water. I'm a Tom Boy at heart and would rather play on the guys baseball team, than to attend a spouse group meeting. ; )I write a weekly Spouse Column titled, "Anything but Dependent" for my base paper. I am currently working on my first book which is a raw and humorous look into our military life and a card line that is made for Military Families.When I am not writing, I am coaching my kids youth sports teams, volunteering at Navy Marine Corps Relief Society where I work as a case worker and handle their PR . . . I'm just Mom and Wife! ; ) |
