The President's budget is unfairly targeting military retirees by increasing annual Tricare Premiums by over 300%. The Men and Woman who have honorably served Our Great Nation are being dishonored by this President! Please contact your State Elected Officials and the Obama Administration to voice your outrage of this Presidential Budget. https://writerep.house.gov/writerep/welcome.shtml The President's budget proposes $48.7 billion for the DOD Unified Medical Budget which supports the Military Health System. The Military Health System provides medical care for over 9.6 million eligible beneficiaries. The budget would also implement income-tiered TRICARE Prime and TRICARE for Life annual enrollment fees, and TRICARE Standard/Extra annual enrollment fees for working age retirees under 65 and annual deductible increases. The proposal does not include fee increases for active-duty service members, survivors of military members who died on active duty, or medically retired service members.
